Evolution 2 has been instructing and guiding skiers around the Alps since 1987.

If you want to experience what Espace Killy really has to offer, then join Evolution 2 on one of their expeditions and have a fantastic adventure.

All of their high mountain guides are fully qualified and as a minimum speak English and French (other languages also available) so you can easily communicate.

Their philosophy when it comes to mountain sports is simple. They believe in teaching in small groups, by instructors who are specialists in their field, and with an emphasis on real progression and FUN!

What you can do

Evolution 2 have a number of different off-piste options available for you, including:

Le Lac - Off-piste beginner

for those comfortable on all types of slope and snow, who want to progress towards off-piste skiing - learn the techniques for deep snow off-piste
focusing on the correct technique that is required for going off-piste on varying types of snow and varying types of conditions (powder, chopped-up and icy)
they will provide you with all necessary avalanche safety equipment - including either an ARVA or ABS backpack, probe, shovel and transceiver, and training on the equipment is part of the first day

Le Lac - Off-piste advanced

Suitable for skiers only. If you're a snowboarder please send an enquiry for more suggestions.
Group off-piste ski technique session. Focusing on the correct technique that is required for skiing off-piste on varying types of snow conditions (powder, chopped-up and icy).
On the first day you will receive training on how to use your transceiver, shovel and probe. These are provided by us, in addition to the ABS back-pack.

Tovière to Chevril with return by helicopter

suitable for skiers and snowboarders with off-piste experience, comfortable on different types of off-piste snow
drop in through one of the numerous couloirs from the Tovière ridge and head down to the Tovière pass and through the Bois de la Laye to the Lac du Chevril
await the helicopter that will take you back to the resort or if time permits, do another off-piste route under the table of orientation on the Belvarde mountain
the guide may adapt the exact route to take advantage of the best snow conditions on the day
they provide all necessary avalanche safety equipment, including either an ARVA or ABS backpack, probe, shovel and transceiver

Tarentaise Tour

experienced off-piste skiers only, not suitable for snowboards because of a long flat traverse
a full day’s skiing discovering the legendary off-piste of the Vanoise and Tarentaise Valley through the resorts of Tignes, La Plagne, Les Arcs and Villaroger
six kilometres of vertical descent!!
Evolution 2 will provide you with an ABS back-pack, transceiver, shovel and probe - bring your own drinks and a snack
