Luxury hotels
There are two five-star hotels on offer at the resort. The first one to open its doors was Les Suites du Nevada. Offering large suites, a fine restaurant and a fully-equipped spa, it rapidly became a hit with visitors to Tignes. Les Suites du Montana followed, made up of five Savoyard-style chalets, this hotel boasts accommodation for two to four people as well as a brand new gourmet restaurant and a spa complete with beauty treatments and massages. There are also stunning four-star hotels like Les Campanules, in Le Lac, which features a range of contemporary rooms with plush interiors and an outdoor heated pool in its spa. The times of Tignes as a purely low-cost resort are long gone...
Family friendly hotels
If you're taking a skiing holiday with the family, it's always good to find somewhere with a bit extra space for the kids and with good facilities to keep them entertained. The three-star hotel Le Refuge is a fantastic option for families with its convenient location in the heart of Tignes Le Lac, close to the lifts and ski schools as well as to the glacier, offering the opportunity to ski in winter and summer. Boasting family rooms, children will be fascinated by its history as Tignes first mountain refuge, built in 1924. In Val Claret, the all-inclusive Club Med Resort has a good children's club which caters for kids from four years old right through to teenagers.
Group friendly hotels
There is plenty of good-sized hotel accommodation in Tignes which makes it an ideal ski destination for large groups.
